17 Months and Growing

Happy Seventeen Months to our little Charlie Ann!

This past month in a quick recap.

New Likes: Parades, Real Shoes!, Bunny Ears, Easter Baskets with Plastic Eggs, Eating Whole Apples, Swimming, Sesame Street, Playing Outside and Electric Pink Cars.  

New Dislikes: Eggs, Taiga's Big Tail, Putting on Pajamas (unless one sings Itsy Bitsy Spider while dressing), not playing with the Sound Machine, Toy Vacuum, Baby Gates and stopping any of the above "New Likes".

Favorite Book - 1977 Sesame Street book from Goodwill

Favorite Toy - Wooden Alphabet Blocks

Favorite Song - Itsy Bitsy Spider (complete with motions)

Favorite Food - Whole Bananas (if she is doing the holding and eating all by herself)

Favorite Past Times - kitchen dance parties with Daddy and walking loops between the kitchen, dining room and entry way.. all while holding favorite toy and jabbering away

Size - 22 lbs, 18 mon clothes, size 3 diapers, size 4 shoes

Sleep - 12 hours uninterrupted night time, 2 hour afternoon nap, and morning "rest" (no sleeping but playing in crib)


A Family Day trip to Buffalo, New York during Daddy's Spring Break.

Your first birthday party.  Cowgirl style.



St. Patty's Day Parade in the cold and snow.  But Charlie Ann LOVED it.

And then we had this really low point... into the doctor for a head to toe "rash".
Poor baby.  She has eczema just like her momma.  Within 24 hours of seeing a fabulous pediatric dermatologist, everything was under control.  Phew.

New walkin' shoes.. which may be runnin' shoes, sooner than later.

This was a funny morning.  She shoots and scores!
